Make filter required for Mailings

A customer had an accident while sending a newsletter: He forgot a recipient filter.

So, the question was, can this field be required. Technically wise it’s simple, just setting the form field to required=true.
But I’d like to ask the pros if there are some side effects I’m not aware at the moment. Is there anything else to check for?

Yeah, should be totally fine. In our Ready Membership product, we build on top of the Preside base to customise in a similar way. Introducing a concept of lists that are a required field.
